Born in Kazan, flutist Rustem Sakhabiev received his degree in music performance with honors from the University of Music in Münster (Germany) in 2017.

     In 2008 he was awarded the Yehudi Menuhin scholarship. In the course of his study he received his first engagements as a soloist for “Freilichtspiele” in Tecklenburg and Theater Münster (Germany).

 

    Rustem Sakhabiev is very experienced in chamber music and orchestra playing. His performances include the stage appearance at Leipzig Opera, the Tchaikovsky Moscow Concert Hall, the Berlin Philharmonic a.o.

 

    His repertoire includes solo and chamber music classical works as well as contemporary music.
