    Pablo Marqués Mestre, was born in Altura (Castellón, Spain) where at an early age, he

began his musical studies at the Unión Musical y Cultural of Altura.

    Later he entered the “Alto Palancia” Professional Conservatory of Music in Segorbe, where he attended a large part of the Professional Degree courses, being his teacher

Manuel López Torres. Already in 2004 he  moved to Castellón and it was at the Professional Conservatory "Mestre Tàrrega" in Castellón where he finished his Professional Degree under the tutelage of Professor Juan Serra Ferrando, and received the Title of Professor in the Trumpet specialty. Subsequently, he completed higher education in the same specialty at the "Salvador Seguí" Higher Conservatory of Music in Castellón, with professors Vicente Campos, Ricardo Casany and Francisco Sanz.

    At the same time, he expands his musical studies and specifically on Orchestra and

Choir Conducting with the teachers Juan Luís Martínez, Salvador Sebastià and Rafael

Sánchez Mombiedro, in addition to taking different courses and masterclasses on

Orchestral Conducting with the teachers Yaron Traub and Cristóbal Soler, among others. In 2010 he moved to Tallinn (Estonia) to study Master's in Orchestral Conducting with teachers Toomas Kapten, Silvia Landra and Irene Lindi at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theater, which ended in 2012 with the highest marks (Cum Laude) unanimously by the jury. Likewise, Pablo Marqués has a Diploma in Business Sciences and a Master in Musical Research.

    He has been the principal conductor of the Symphonic Band Unión Musical Utielana de

Utiel, of the Orchestra and Choir of the Ateneu Musical Schola Cantorum de la Vall d ´Uixó, of the Youth Symphonic Band of the Federation of Music Societies of the Valencian Community and of the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Castelló (JOSC). In addition, he has performed as a guest conductor in various groups, including the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra (ERSO), the Valencia Symphony Orchestra, Carpe Diem Chamber Orchestra Saint Petersburg (Russia), Estonian Academy of Music and Theater Symphony Orchestra of Tallinn (Estonia), Tallinn International Youth

Orchestra, Municipal Band of Castellón, Municipal Symphonic Band of Albacete,

Symphonic Band and Orchestra of the Santa Cecilia de Cullera Musical Instructional

Society (Valencia), Classical Symphony Orchestra and the Camerata of the International Chamber Music Festival de Castellón (FIMMC).

    He has made come CD recordings with different bands and orchestras: Gustav Mahler's Symphony No. 1 with the Jove Orquestra Simfònica de Castelló, and "Música a la Llum" with the Jove Banda Simfònica of the FSMCV. Specifically, with the "Carpe Diem" Chamber Orchestra Saint Petersburg, he made a video recording dedicated to the work

of P.I. Tchaikovsky in the throne hall of the Catherine Palace in April 2011, as well as

seven concert tours of different places in the Spanish geography in the summers of the

years 2012 to 2018 Likewise, in his activity as a teacher, he has taught various courses

and management masterclass at national and international level (Castilla-la Mancha,

Valencia, Colombia, Estonia ...).

    In 2011 he was the winner of the conducting competition framed within the XXVII

International Music Course "Ciutat de Cullera" and has won First Prize in the Valencian

Community Contest with the Symphonic Band of the Ateneu Musical "Schola Cantorum" of Vall d ´Uixó in 2014, First Prize in the 46th edition of the Villa de Altea International Music Competition with the Symphonic Band of Unió Musical de Llíria, and the First Prize of the Salvador Giner section in the I and III Bankia Orchestras Competition with the Symphonic Orchestra of “La Primitiva” Society from Rafelbunyol in 2017 and 2019 respectively. In the 2019 edition, he was also awarded the Best Conductor Award for that section.

    He has conducted soloists such as Wenzel Fuchs (Berliner Philharmoniker), Arturo

Sandoval (international soloist), Claude Delangle (Conservatoire de Paris), Rubén

Simeó (international soloist), Yturvides Vílchez (international soloist), Raisa Ulumbekova (Musikhochschule de Münster), Ludmila Ketova (Mariinsky Theater Symphony Orchestra), Ilya Dinov (Kapella Symphony Orchestra St. Petersburg), Abe Rábade (jazz pianist), Venancio Rius (Alfonso X el Sabio University), among others.

    In addition, in the field of theater and lyric, he has conducted various lyrical galas and

has been the musical conductor of the zarzuelas "Gigantes y Cabezudos", "Bohemios"

and "La Tabernera del Puerto" with the orchestra and choir of the Ateneu Musical

Schola Cantorum de la Vall d´Uixó in the Main Theater of Castelló, within the XIV and

XV Cycles of Opera of Castellón, the zarzuela “El Dúo de la Africana” with the orchestra

and choir of the “La Primitiva” Society of Rafelbunyol and the opera “Cosí fan Tutte” by

WA Mozart with the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Valencia.

    He is currently the principal guest conductor of the Carpe Diem Chamber Orchestra St.Petersburg and principal conductor of the Symphonic Band of Unió musical de Llíria and the Symphony Orchestra of “La Primitiva” Society of Rafelbunyol, as well as professor of Orchestral Conducting at the Superior Conservatory of Music of Castilla-La Mancha (Albacete, Spain)
